Work-at-Home Moms: Women Helping Women in Raleigh

Like many of you, I'm so happy to have given up the daily grind of my stressful corporate job and now have my dream job, as a stay-at-home Mom, with my own in-home-skincare-bus iness.

This group will meet twice a month and is for women, with all different types of businesses, who want to bring their business to a whole new success-level. We'll be a source of training, motivation and accountability for each other. Women helping women.

To begin with, our training will be based on two great books: Book Yourself Solid, by Michael Port, and The 4-Hour Workweek, by Tim Ferriss. And we'll focus on some of the following:
- How to find new customers
- How to offer incredible customer service
- Managing our time more effectively so we give our family 100% focus when we're "off" and our business 100% focus when we're working
- Achieving work/life balance
- Creating financial peace for our families
- Finding childcare options for when we're working (a free babysitting coop)

(Once we have members, I'll poll the group to see what meeting time will work best - whether it's during the day, and we have a sitter(s) watch our children; or if we meet a night during the week.)

  • "Clare, I'm really excited about this group. I have the book by Michael Port and this is exciting to read it more thoroughly with a group. I just returned from San Diego where I attended a marketing course with Christian Mickelson, a marketing guru for coaches. He really helped me get an action plan and understand on-line marketing. I'm in the process of making a lot of changes to my website and services. Thanks so much for this great opportunity to network with other WAHMs!"
