My daughter just turned 4...I also have a son who will be 6 in March...and we just moved to South Weymouth. We are looking to meet other families in the area. After two years as a single mom, unable to connect with friends in a similar situation, I have decided to start a group dedicated to bringing single moms together. My goal for this group is to provide support for one another, share experiences, make new friends, and have some fun! This is a group for moms who immigrated to US either as adults or children, or those who lived outside of US for some amount of time and consider themselves international mothers. We could meet and share our experiences of growing up and living in different countries and how those translate to parenthood in the US. I work full time, so will be planning on organizing mostly weekend activities in Boston area, though if others are interested we could organize weekday activities too.
