Stroller Strides is the country's largest and most successful stroller work out in the country! Classes offer a stroller workout that combines Power Walking and intervals of body toning using the stroller, the environment and exercise tubing. After moving about a year ago, I was surprised to find that my new neighborhood association does not typically offer activities and events for young children. I decided to establish a group for babies and young children in Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, Terrell Hills/Heights, Monte Vista, etc. Many of the kids in these neighborhoods will be going to school together later on, so I thought it would be great if they could start developing those friendships now. Having a small child is hard enough, but having a child with hearing loss can be overwhelming. This group is intended to offer support and friendship to families with young children, ages birth to 5, with hearing loss. The focus of this group is for infants or toddlers learning to communicate orally, but we are open to all means of communication. Events will consist mainly of play dates, family events, and parents' night out.

Let's get together for affordable "munchkin" activities once a week. Each week we will have a playdate hosted by one of our members. Each week the host and location will change. We will also have a "field trip" day at least once a month (i.e.; Sea World, S.A. ZOO, The pool, Lunch, etc).
